The Clue:

This author, born in Portland, Maine February 27, 1807, was an educator and poet. He predominantly wrote lyric poetry, known for its musicality, which often presented stories of mythology and legend. He became the most popular American poet of his day and also had success overseas. He was also the first American to translate Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy and was one of the five members of the group known as the Fireside Poets

 

 

June's quote, clue and answer

 

"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June."

 

These weather words come from a Canadian author best known for a series of novels beginning in 1908 whose central character was an orphaned girl. These stories made this author famous in her lifetime and gave her an international following. The novels became the basis for a highly acclaimed 1985 CBC television miniseries, and several other television movies and programs which ran in Canada and the U.S. from 1990-1996.
